Don't miss deadline, Taunton's tax credit claimants warned
THE 7,500 tax credit claimants in Taunton Deane are being urged to renew well before the July 31 deadline to avoid a last minute rush.
Last year 14% of people failed to renew by the deadline.
HMRC has begun sending out tax credit renewal packs and is warning that a failure to renew on time could lead to people losing their payments.
