RUMOURS that Britpop giants, Oasis, are to headline Glastonbury Festival, have been quashed by Emily Eavis.
Responding to a front page story by The Sun newspaper, Emily, daughter of festival founder Michael Eavis, simply tweeted: “Oasis aren’t playing this year”.
A final ticket resale for this year’s festival from June 25-29, sold out in under 16 minutes.
