A LEGENDARY comedian will be entertaining fans in Somerset this June before starting his nationwide tour.
Comic Lee Evans (right) will be at The Playhouse in Weston on June 9 and 10 with a special sneak-peak of some of his jokes from the ‘Monsters’ tour.
The ‘Monkey-Boy’ of comedy will be sweating his way through brand new material and audiences are asked to note that he will be referring to notes during his performance ... but comedy fans are still in for a treat.
Mark Thompson, General Manager at The Playhouse, said: “After what has already been a very successful run of comedy this spring with Jason Manford, Jon Richardson and Josh Widdicombe all playing at the theatre over the last few weeks and with Ed Byrne still to come this May, we are delighted to further extend our comedy season with the legendary one and only Lee Evans taking to our stage for two special performances which will give Weston audiences the chance to hear brand new material from Lee before his national arena tour this year.”
Tickets are expected to sell fast for both 8pm performances and are priced at £29.50. If you would like to book your tickets call The Playhouse Box Office on 01934-645544 or visit the website at www.theplayhouse.co.uk
