ANIMAL lover and distinguished pianist Roger Woodward is in concert in aid of an Asian sanctuary on Friday August 1.
Great works by Chopin, Bach and Beethoven are on the bill for the performance in Wellington School’s great hall.
Roger, who is a Fellow of the Chopin Institute, is supporting the Nanning Bear Sanctuary of Animals Asia, working to end the cruel practice of farming bears for their bile in Vietnam and China.
On Tuesday July 29 Roger will appear for an hour on In Tune, Radio 3's flagship live classical
music programme, from 5pm.
Tickets cost £20, with refreshments, on 01823-681168.
