Free open air youth club in Taunton over summer holidays
CHILDREN can enjoy free outdoor youth club sessions in Taunton’s French Weir Park and Longrun Meadow over the summer holidays.
Muddy Boots starts next Tuesday (July 29) and then on August 6, 19, 21, 26 and 27, with sessions from 10am to 12noon and 1pm to 3pm.
Booking is not required – anyone aged eight to 12 should just turn up, although younger children are also welcome if accompanied by an adult.
It is the brainchild of local councillor Justine Baker, who has secured health and wellbeing funds from Somerset County Council, and Tilda Western and Louise Kennedy, from the Woodland Play Centre in Crowcombe.
