STAFF and pupils at St Peter’s First School, Williton, have been raising money for The Renal Unit at Southmead Hospital in Bristol in support of a member of the school team.
Caretaker Lee Dunlop, who has had a kidney transplant, is hoping to raise more than £1,000 for equipment for the hospital unit where he received his treatment.
Mr Dunlop began cycling training earlier this year and is taking part in the British Transplant Games in August.
He spoke about his fundraising in a special assembly organised to explain what the fundraising was all about.
Staff and students went to school dressed in red, white and blue and held a bun bake sale to raise £120.
