Fire at Wheddon Cross
THREE fire appliances were mobilised, one from Dulverton and two from Minehead following a report of a room fire at Wheddon Cross today at 4.25pm.
On arrival at the scene crews confirmed fire in the roof space of a single storey garage and got to work to extinguish.
The fire which extinguished prior to the arrival of fire crews caused moderate damage was extinguished using one short triple extension ladder, small tools and a thermal image camera.
