AS part of this year's Dulverton by Starlight celebrations, the tenth and final display of nativity sets will take place at Dulverton Town Hall on Sunday, December 7, from 2pm-6pm.
This year there will be a special exhibition featuring nativity sets made in countries around the world and a children's competition to match some of the sets with the relevant country.
Barbara Carr, one of the organisers, said: “On some of our previous events over 1,000 visitors have been counted.”
Jan Ross, who helps Barbara with the preparations before the day, added: “Everyone enjoys the exhibition and we are pleased that, during the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations, looking for presents in the local Dulverton shops, enjoying the fun and activities in the streets, families can come up to be reminded of the Christmas story.
“We feel ten years has been a good long innings and hope to go out with a great final event”.
Entrance is free to the exhibition and if anyone has a nativity set which they are willing to be included in the display, they should contact Barbara Carr on 01398 323525.
