THE work of a group of young Wellington women behind a charitable project to help vulnerable families at Christmas has been praised by the national charity.
Project Wrapped Up 2014, founded by mother-of-two Alice Burns, of Scotts Lane, was among guests attending an Action for Children celebration day in Devizes, Wiltshire.
Over £800 has been raised by collecting and selling pre-loved toys and children's clothing in the nine months since the project launched.
