AREAS of West Somerset have been put on flood alert by the Environment Agency.
Overnight rainfall that continued through to this morning has added to the already high river flows in West Somerset, causing the river level at Beggearn Huish on the Washford River to rise.
River levels on the Hawkcombe Stream at Porlock, Horner Water at West Luccombe, River Aller at Allerford, Monksilver Stream at Williton, Doniford Stream at Sampford Brett and Doniford Stream at Doniford are all currently stable.
If you have been affected by flooding caused by the overnight rainfall in the West Somerset area, email hollie.borland@nqsw.co.uk or call 01823-365171.
