THE Castle Sports Centre in Taunton is hosting a major night of kickboxing on November 29.
The event, presented by Taunton’s Unleashed Kickboxing club, will feature 14 full-contact kickboxing and K-1 fights, featuring fighters from across Wales, the Midlands and the South of England.
Unleashed will have three fighters, including Chris ‘Kong’ Alison, who gained two medals at this year’s Unified World Championships.
The main event, sponsored by e-riders, will be a southern area title fight between Juris Poskus, of Bridgwater, and Jon Van den Heuvel.
Promoters Mark Monk (Unleashed coach) and Jeremy Hyams said: “We are really looking forward to our first event. Martial arts is hugely popular, whether you train or not, and we welcome anyone who would like to support the show as a sponsor or spectator.”
Commonwealth Games boxing bronze medallist Lauren Price will also be attending as a VIP guest.
Doors open at 3pm and tickets are available by calling 07773-458934.
