A 60-year-old man was killed yesterday when he was hit by a motorcylist at Cutcombe Hill in Timberscombe near Minehead yesterday (November 19).
The incident happened at around 2.45pm on the A396 when a motorbike approached a sharp left-hand bend on a downhill section of the hill and it is thought to have mounted a grass bank.
The male rider, who was travelling with four others, fell off the bike and was in collision with a second rider travelling in the same direction.
The man died at the scene shortly afterwards.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident, and are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision.
