REMINISCENCE Learning in Taunton is celebrating its success at the annual National Dementia Care Awards.
It won the outstanding dementia care product or innovation category for its inter-generational dementia awareness Archie Project.
Some 620 guests, including members of the BBC Breakfast team, attended a gala night at the Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel hosted by Paul Sinha from ITV’s The Chase.
The judges who awarded Reminiscence Learning the trophy and certificate said: “The project demonstrates positive impact across communities that have made a significant difference to both people living with dementia and their families.
“It fits in well with the national dementia strategy and has the potential to scale across the UK and beyond.”
