COUNCIL cuts which could see more than half of Somerset’s 574 mobile library stops axed next August are being discussed at drop-in events this week.
As reported, the proposals by Somerset County Council, aimed at making around £500,000 of savings, also include the phasing out of CD loans.
People will be able to see a consultation on the plans and fill in a questionnaire at a drop-in at Taunton Library on Monday, from 3pm to 7pm.
The consultation is also available here
