Two people rescued after falling in River Tone
FIRE crews rescued two people from the River Tone in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The Fire Service received a call reporting a person in the river at Coal Orchard.
Two fire appliances from Taunton and the Specialist Rescue Team from Bridgwater were mobilised.
On arrival fire crews pulled one male and one female, both in their twenties, from the river and rendered first aid to the casualties prior to the arrival of the ambulance service.
