Flood road closure scheme in Ruishton and Henlade could go nationwide
A TEAM of ten villagers have been unveiled as Ruishton and Henlade Road closure volunteers.
They will seal off the road in times of flooding that makes the roads impassable as part of a pilot that may become a national scheme.
Operation Gannex, as it is called, is organised and operated by Insp Tim Powell-Gill, of Avon and Somerset Police.
