STUDENTS at Queen’s College, Taunton, are holding a charity auction in aid of EdUKaid, a charity that works to improve the quality and provision of primary education in Rural Tanzania, on Saturday, December 13.
Members of the World AIMS charity group at the school have collected donations for prizes from local shops and businesses, including a pamper evening for 15 people and a weekend for two in a traditional style shepherd’s hut.
There will be many other smaller items and offers to bid for too, along with mulled wine and mince pies for £2 on entry.
Charlotte Mitchell, Head of the World AIMS group said: “EdUKaid is really relevant to us here at school. We want to be able to help children access the best primary education they can as we realise how fortunate we are here at school.
“Any support we can get to achieve this will be brilliant.”
