A CYCLIST was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital after a collision with a vehicle on Station Road in Taunton.
The accident happened during the rush hour on Wednesday morning.
Two ambulances were sent to the incident near Taunton Railway Station.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 8.49am about a cyclist knocked off their bike. The person was taken to Musgrove with head injuries. We do not yet know if the vehicle involved was a car or a van."
A police spokesman said: "The male victim was conscious and was taken to Musgrove."
