Dulerton Thrift Shop raises £18,606 for the town hall
THE Thrift Shop held in Dulverton Town Hall raised an amazing £18,606 from November 2013 to October 2014.
Charity chairman Keith Ross said at the recent AGM: “We are truly grateful to everyone for such amazing support.”
The funds are vital to help the management committee look after the old medieval building. Further plans include improving the acoustics in the hall and a better sound system for films.
Tony Sloley, former treasurer for the charity, was also thanked for his sterling support to the town hall, having been treasurer for the last ten years.
