A TAUNTON-based charity has been chosen as the charity of the year by staff from Tone Leisure centres around Taunton Deane.
The support from Tone Leisure will include facilitating some of SAV's events, fundraising and promotion for the charity.
Adam Fouracre, CEO of SAV said: "This is an amazing opportunity for us as a small charity and I am touched that Tone Leisure staff have voted for us.
"I hope we can really make a good use of the valuable support being offered and benefit both SAV and repay Tone Leisure for their kindness and generosity."
Posters and collection pots will be appearing in Tone Leisure sites over the next week and a series of events are already being planned.
Juliette Dickinson, managing director of Tone Leisure added: ‘Tone leisure is very pleased to be working with Stand Against Violence to assist them in raising funds and awareness for this local cause.
"We look forward to providing resources and facilities to enable fundraising for the SAV charity over future months."
