THE County Gazette is celebrating its 180th birthday this year – and we want you to join the party.
We’ve got lots of ideas we’ll be sharing with you over the coming weeks and months in the lead up to the big day.
The newspaper was first published on December 31, 1836, and we’re hoping to make 2016 one big party.
As well as celebrating the wonderful part of the world we live in, we’ll be looking back over the past 180 years.
Gazette readers have a record of supporting good causes down the years and we’re asking you to help us a fantastic local charity - we plan to raise £180,000 for St Margaret’s Hospice and we’d like to recruit 180 people to register as organ donors.
There will be plenty of giveaways and many ways in which we’d like you to get involved - all will be revealed as the year progresses - so get involved.
