TREK FOR CHARITY: Walkers during the Somerset event
THE County Gazette is celebrating 180 years of bringing local news to readers.
We’re celebrating the landmark birthday by raising £180,000 for St Margaret’s Hospice.
Hospice supporters took part in the Great Somerset Walk last Sunday at Wimbleball Lake to raise much-needed funds.
So far almost £3,000 has been collected in sponsorship, which will pay for a bed in an in-patient unit for six days.
