TAUNTON Ambulance Station opened its doors for a family fun day at its Lisieux Way, on Sunday.
The event showcased ambulance resources and staff and volunteer community first responders were on hand to chat about their roles.
Vehicles on display included frontline ambulances, rapid-response vehicles, the motorcycle response unit and Hazardous Area Response Team.
There was plenty for children to do with a bouncy castle, face painting, a colouring competition, hot and cold food and refreshments and lots of fun skills sessions including CPR and bandaging.
