IF YOU'VE seen a giant chocolate egg floating mysteriously around Somerset, it's not been an April Fool's but merely an 'egg-cellent' trick.
The colossal piece of chocolate, which weighs an astonishing 19.5kg, has been turning the heads of chocolate lovers as it hovered high above the county.
The egg was created by chocolatier Hotel Chocolat and was pictured with Beau Bunny floating above Wookey Hole and Glastonbury Tor.
Without any smoke or mirrors, but a whole load of delicious cocoa, the mysterious egg was brought to life by Beau Bunny, Hotel Chocolat’s very own Easter Bunny.
As well as levitating above Somerset, it has also been sighted by confused onlookers over landmarks that include Tintern Abbey, Puzzle Wood and Snowdonia National Park.
Angus Thirlwell of Hotel Chocolat said: “We are constantly striving to be innovative with our creations and have fun with chocolate, and there is no better time to get creative than at Easter time.
"We hope our playful take on the Easter Egg has bought new life to the season across the country and shown just how magical chocolate can be.”
