TWO people have been taken to hospital after a crash on a busy Taunton road.
The A358 near Thornfalcon was partially blocked and traffic is slow after a crash.
Emergency services were called to Mattock's Tree Hill around 7.15am this morning (April 13).
Two fire engines from Taunton were called following a report from a passing motorist reporting a two vehicle crash on the dual carriageway and traffic lights at Ash Cross.
It was believed a person was trapped.
On arrival crews confirmed there had been a crash with one vehicle coming to rest on its side, but there were no people trapped and all persons were free and clear of the vehicles.
Crews made the vehicles and scene safe, before leaving duty of care with the police.
There were two casualties who were injured and left in the care of ambulance personnel.
The two people were taken to Musgrove Park Hospital.
