A CARAVAN has been completely destroyed after a fire in Oake.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received several calls from members of the public at around 6pm on May 18 that a caravan was alight at a property on Oake Close in Oake near Wellington.
Firefighters from Taunton and Wellington attended.
On arrival, crews confirmed the caravan was alight and used one jet and one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
The fire destroyed the caravan and burnt a section of scrub land.
Eight LPG cylinders were found on the site, they were cooled and their safety was checked by firefighters using a thermal imaging camera.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
