A MAN has been flown to hospital after a crash near Wellington last night.
Air ambulance, a land ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and three fire engines were all called to the crash on Rectory Road, Ashbrittle shortly after 6pm yesterday evening (May 29).
On arrival, fire crews from Wellington, Wiveliscombe and Bampton discovered a one vehicle crash with a male casualty, who had been released before the fire crews arrived.
Crews assisted the Ambulance service with the casualty and made the vehicle safe.
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service said they were called out at 6.01pm to a male casualty with a chest injury.
The casualty was flown to Derriford Hospital by air ambulance.
