CARDIOLOGY staff rowed, cycled, walked and ran to boost a £1 million appeal for an MRI scanner at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton.
And less energetic supporters bought cakes to eat to help boost the fundraiser.
The event for the Love Musgrove campaign on Saturday was the brainchild of consultant cardiologist Dr Mark Dayer.
And it took a personal turn for junior sister Claire Sowerby when an MRI scan diagnosed her teenage son, Braden, with a brain tumour earlier this year - thankfully it has been successfully removed.
The fun event in the hospital's concourse area has so far raised more than £3,000 and with donations still coming in, organisers hope to hit their £5,000 target.
