SEVEN people were rescued after a vehicle got stuck attempting to drive through a ford near Wellington.
Firefighters were called to the scene on Watery Lane at Stawley near Wellington at 8pm last night (Friday, November 3).
A specialist rescue team from Exmouth were called to help rescue the seven people in the vehicle, one adult, five 16-year-olds and a one-year-old baby.
The fire crews donned dry suits and help rescue all seven of the occupants uninjured from the vehicle.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue confirmed: "Duty of care for the vehicle was then left in the hands of the owner, awaiting recovery."
