A keen photographer from Taunton has managed to capture a taste of our rural heritage.
Photographer Lynne Thomas took this picture in North Curry.
She said: "I just think it's lovely that some farms in Somerset still use the old way of doing things.
"I heard that the olde traditional way of collecting the "stooks" is to wait for three consecutive Sunday church bells to ring before the crop is collected.
"I'm pleased I got some shots before they disappeared".
