MORE than 300 homes in West Somerset are without electricity this morning after a series of power cuts in the district.
Two power cuts in Minehead have led to 312 homes being without power this morning.
On the south eastern edge of the town, a high voltage power cut has meant 168 properties are without electricity.
Postcodes affected are: TA24 8AE, TA24 8AD, TA24 8AR, TA24 8AN, TA24 8AW, TA24 8AP, TA24 8AS, TA24 8BB, TA24 8AT, TA24 8AX.
This was reported shortly after 7am and was due to be resolved at 9.30am.

In the north west of Minehead, 144 properties have been affected by a seperate low voltage power cut.
The incident was reported shortly after 7.30am and Western Power Distribution said the problem should be resolved by 11am.
Postcodes affected include: TA24 5RZ, TA24 5JY, TA24 5JW, TA24 5RX, TA24 5JU, TA24 5RS, TA24 5SY, TA24 5SF, TA24 5RT, TA24 5JS, TA24 5RP, TA24 5SA, TA24 5SE, TA24 5SD, TA24 5RU, TA24 5JR, TA24 5JT, TA24 5JQ, TA24 5SB.
In Dulverton, 23 properties are currently without power as a result of a low voltage power cut.
The incident was reported shortly before 7.45am, and is set to be resolved by 11am.
Postcodes affected are TA22 9DT, TA22 9DU, TA22 9EN.
