A POPULAR village pub that is currently closed is set to reopen 'as soon as possible'.
The Half Moon Inn, Stoke St Mary, which is currently closed, is owned by Ei Publican Partnerships (Ei).
The pub has been closed this month but Ei says it will be reopened soon.
EI confirmed that a new publican had been found but did not comment on why the pub closed in the first place.
A spokesman from Ei said: “We can confirm, we have found a publican to take on the Half Moon, Taunton on a short term agreement.
"We would like to reassure the local community that we aim to reopen the pub as soon as possible."
