A MAN was freed from a vehicle after a crash on Porlock Hill.
Avon and Somerset Police closed Porlock Hill following the incident at around 6pm (May 25).
A spokesman from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said:
"One fire appliance from Porlock, and two from Minehead were all called to reports of a road traffic collision in the above location.
"On arrival, crews confirmed one vehicle on its side with one persons trapped inside.
"Crew proceeded to stabilise the vehicle and used hydraulic cutting equipment to gain access to the casualty.
"Crews extricated the male, who was handed over to the ambulance service."
PC Joe Sanderson posted the update on social media at the time.
He said: "Porlock Hill is currently closed due to a road traffic incident.
"Please avoid and plan your journey."
It is believed the road is closed from the Parson's Street junction.
