A spokesman for the Home Office said: "Immigration Enforcement officers accompanied Avon and Somerset Police to premises on Galmington Road, Taunton on Friday, May 25 at 10am.
"Two Chinese nationals were encountered, a 49-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man, who had no right to be in the UK.
"Both must now report regularly to Immigration Enforcement.
"Immigration Enforcement is an operational directorate within the Home Office responsible for enforcing immigration law."
It is believed the takeaway, which was given a food hygiene rating of 4/5 by Taunton Deane in March, is still open as normal.
Attempts have been made to contact Jade Garden.
