A WEATHER warning for rain is still in place despite sunny predictions for Somerset.
The Met Office has issued the warning for the south of England and Wales for rain between 1pm and 8pm today (May 28).
A spokesman for the Met Office said: "Further thunderstorms may form on Monday afternoon.
"While many areas will miss these and see little or no rain any thunderstorms that do form are likely to be slow moving.
"These could give 25-35 mm of rain in less than an hour with the potential for 50-60 mm in 2-3 hours were separate storms to affect the same location.
"Lightning and hail may also be additional hazards."
Temperatures will be around 24 degrees Celsius for most of the day, staying around 19 degrees Celsius overnight.
It will be a bright day until around 4pm when there is a 30 per cent chance of rain.
