COMPETITION was wild this weekend as a raft of ducks got ready to race for first place.
Participants gathered to take part in Porlock Duck Race on Sunday (May 27), which this year saw a host of new obstacles.
The traditional family day, featuring 60 yellow plastic ducks, competed in 10 races plus a grand final.
The obstacles include a replica of Porlock Weir, a rabbit warren, a U-Boat, Dunster Castle and even a very scary Beast of Exmoor looming over the river.
Porlock Duck Race raises funds for Porlock Carnival which takes place this year on Saturday September 1.
