A MISTY morning will soon be overtaken by sunny spells across Somerset today, according to forecasters.
Temperatures could reach 24C, although there are warnings of showers this afternoon, which could turn heavy, according to the Met Office.
"Showers die away through the evening, and while there will be some clear spells in the west, misty low cloud may return across many eastern parts during the early hours," a forecaster said.
Minimum temperatures this evening would be 13C, he added.
