THE Queen's Arms at Pitminster are showing a series of works produced by local Trull artist, Sarah Thompson-Engels.
"Sarah was looking for somewhere to display her work and being a local artist, and as most of her work focuses on fruit and vegetables, we felt it was the perfect partnership," said David Henderson, co-owner of the Queen's Arms.
The bright, colourful and quirky pictures primarily feature fruit and veg, some with the odd pun or proverb.
The Queen's Arms is exhibiting around 20 pieces around the pub, all of which are for sale.
Sarah uses a variety of media, including acrylics, oil sticks, and pastels on watercolour paper, canvas or MDF.
Sarah was educated in Somerset then went on to gain an honours degree in Fine Art from Wolverhampton University. She has had many successful exhibitions while living in London and jointly ran the charity-based BTW gallery in Pimlico.
Her paintings adorn the walls of a great deal of private homes, restaurants and corporate buildings in and around London.
The Queen's Arms is planning an exhibition of Sarah's work combined with a wine tasting later this year.
