A PRESCHOOL in Taunton is celebrating after receiving a 'good' Ofsted report.
YMCA preschool was rated as 'good' in all of the inspection sections.
The report highlighted the 'consistently excellent' support for children learning English as an additional language and how the children are clearly emotionally secure.
Preschool manager, Jackie Northcott, said: "I am very proud of the YMCA Taunton Pre-School's Ofsted report stating that we are 'good'.
"We have worked extremely hard over the past year to develop the provision in order that the children are able to thrive and meet their learning potential."
Inspector, Julie Neal, said: "Recent changes to management have had a very positive impact and helped to ensure good-quality outcomes for children.
"Extremely strong partnerships with other professionals and a consistent approach to planning ensure that these children make the best possible progress.
"Children learn very good skills that prepare them well for their next stage in learning, including going to school."
Miss Northcott added: "We are very much looking forward to the next academic year and we have a few spaces available."
