POLICE said at 10.30am that the M5 between Taunton and Bridgwater is likely to be fully open within an hour.
The first two lanes northbound are closed to traffic after an articulated lorry transporting prawns overturned at about 5.15am this morning (Friday).
The prawns are being recovered at the moment and the lorry will then be removed.
A Citroen Picasso involved in the incident, which was blocking a southbound lane has already been recovered.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to the incident contact them on 0845-4567000.
