MEMBERS of Wellington Town Council will discuss an application for 21 two-bed apartments on a former mill building at a planning meeting on Monday.
The application by Dundry Developments and Investments includes the conversion of the former Haymans Coalyard Warehouse at Haymans Mill, Payton Road, Westford, and the formation of 32 car parking spaces and bike lockers for 42 bikes.
Taunton Deane planning officer John Hamer has suggested the members of the planning committee should assess the impact on the character of the existing building, traffic generation, flood risk mitigation and the impact on wildlife.
The application was deferred from the August meeting in anticipation of comments from Somerset Highways.
A final decision on the application rests with Taunton Deane Council.
The meeting of Wellington Town Council planning committee is open to members of the public and begins at 6pm.
