AN application to turn a Wellington pub into houses will be discussed at a meeting of the town council on Monday.
The Three Cups in Fore Street has plans for three cottages to be built where the pub is now, with a terrace of four two-bedroom cottages and a terrace of three two-bedroom cottages to be built behind.
The pub is Grade 2 Listed, dating back to the 17th century and officially closed earlier this year.
Approval already exists for two three-bedroom cottages and a four-bedroom detached house at the rear of the pub and for the conversion of he pub into residential accommodation.
The final decision lies with Taunton Deane Council.
Members of the public can attend the planning meeting of Wellington Town Council, which starts at 6pm.
