AGE was no barrier for three women in their 90s who did their bit to help raise funds on a sponsored bike event.
Molly Westlake and Norah Tebbit pedalled a mile each after being put under starter's orders by Catherine Cornish.
They are all residents at The Manor Care Home, in Bishop's Hull, where staff took to the road on Saturday on a fundraising cycle.
They were supporting the efforts of staff from owners Barchester Healthcare who are cycling 1,111 miles from Truro to Aberdeen.
Manor general manager Linda Hallett said staff there wanted to also cover a combined 1,111.
She added: "We decided the best way we could support them was to raise funds on their behalf by having our own challenge."
Money raised will go toe help Alzheimer's research and to the Barchester Healthcare Foundation.
