POLICE Community Support Officers in Taunton have been pedalling crime reduction advice to cyclists across the town.
On Saturday, August 25, a cycle overhaul day was held at the Resource Centre in Priorswood with the support of local firm Ralph Coleman Cycles.
The aim of the event, also attended by the Priorswood Local Action Team, was to get bicycles repaired, roadworthy and registered on the Immobilise database so if a bicycle is stolen the chances of getting it back are greatly increased.
PCSO Debbie Perry, who organised the event, said: "A big thank you to everyone who was involved in what was a well supported day.
"With so many people, both young and old, riding bicycles in this area of Taunton, registering them on Immobilise becomes all the more important."
