YOUNGSTERS in Porlock have been enjoying themselves at a weekly youth club held throughout the school holidays.
The group aged 11-16 have been meeting each Wednesday between 10am-4pm at Porlock Village Hall for a summer club.
Different games have been on offer to the group, including badminton, volleyball, table tennis, table football and giant Jenga.
In the smaller hall, arts and crafts were available including card making, painting, and collage work.
On the second Wednesday, local Basket maker Melanie Carroll, visited the group to demonstrate the art of basket making.
The young people have all worked together to produce a giant collage which will be displayed on the wall in the village hall.
The theme of the piece is Porlock - What We Like, What We Don't Like And What We Would Like and has been created from various mediums including paper, painting, fabrics, and natural products such as willow, twigs and sheepskin.
The artwork will be displayed during the Somerset Arts Festival at the hall between September 21-23.
The club was organised by Anne Stoneham and Sue Hurley, Police Community Support Officers for the Porlock and Dunster areas, and Clive Neville of Somerset Rural Youth Project.
The organisers have thanked everyone that helped.
