A FIRE at a property in Casino Road this afternoon (Saturday) was caused by a joss-stick that fell on some clothes, the fire and rescue service said.
Crews from Williton and Minehead were called to the fire in Casino Road, Watchet, shortly after 5pm.
On arrival, they saw smoke billowing out of the building, but soon had the fire under control.
The clothes were damaged by the fire.
There was also smoke damage to the room and light smoke damage to the rest of the property.
Smoke detectors were fitted and operated.
