THE heartbroken husband of a woman who took her own life at a Taunton hotel has paid tribute to his wife who was 'everything' to him and said he is 'broken without her'.
Larissa Saint, 43, of Burge Crescent, Cotford St Luke was found dead at a Premier Inn hotel in Ruishton Lane by police on August 14, an inquest heard.
In a written statement, Nicholas Saint said his wife suffered from depression and he was concerned for her welfare after she went missing a few days before her death.
He said the couple met through an online dating site and dated for nine months before Mrs Saint emigrated from Holland to be with Mr Saint.
A statement read out at the inquest said: "We were very happy together for 12 years and married for six.
"Larissa suffered from depression before and had attempted suicide before but she got support for it when she came to live with me.
"She had support from myself and the NHS and we relied on each other."
Mr Saint said his wife had been suffering badly with migraines shortly before her death and had been to her doctor for help but said treatment did not work.
The inquest heard Mrs Saint suffered with fatigue and found it hard to concentrate and Mr Saint said he 'didn't realise' her depression had come back.
He said he had a good relationship with his wife and said he spent ''the best 12 years of his life with her''.
"I am broken without her, she was everything to me," Mr Saint said.
"I don't know how I did not see the signs.
"I don't know how I am going to live without her. I am bitterly sad."
Senior coroner for Somerset Tony Williams read a statement from PC Jenkins from Avon and Somerset Police who said he was called at 9.50pm on August 14 after receiving reports Mrs Saint, who was missing at the time, may have checked into the Premier Inn.
He said hotel staff directed them to Mrs Saint's room and when they entered they found her unresponsive.
Mrs Saint was pronounced dead at the scene and police recovered a items, including a number of handwritten notes.
The coroner then read a statement from Dr Rianne Sewell, GP at Quantock Vale Surgery, who said Mrs Saint had struggled with depression for a number of years and had been diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome.
Dr Sewell said when she last saw Mrs Saint she said she was still suffering with migraines and had no plans to take her own life.
Mr Williams recorded a conclusion of suicide and recorded the cause of death was drug overdose.
