MP for Taunton Deane, Rebecca Pow, was told to resume her seat admit fits of laughter from her fellow members.
Rebecca Pow stood up in the Commons today (January 29) to add something to the debate, but instead of making a Point of Order, she declared her point to be 'more of an observation'.
Speaker, John Bercow, quickly interrupted Ms Pow before she could make her point, stating he wasn't interested in 'observations'.
The speaker said he hoped it was a 'genuine' point of order as Ms Pow began her statement, before she carried on to say otherwise, causing the rest of the house to erupt into laughter.
Ms Pow continues to make her point despite the speaker continually shouting 'order'.
The speaker said: "Resume your seat.
"With no disrespect to the honourable lady, I am not interested in observations.
"I'm not debating it. I'm telling you. There's no good laughing, chuckling away like it's a matter of amusement, it's a matter of fact.
"Points of Order - yes, observations - no. No no. The honourable lady has helpfully explained she has an observation to make, we're very grateful."
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn then continued with the debate.
