TWO catering managers defrauded the successful state boarding school where they worked out of more than £16,000.
Matthew Briatore, 37, of Lime Road, Crewkerne, and Benjamin Futcher, 33, of Church Street, Wells, both pleaded guilty to fraud during their time at the school when they appeared at Taunton Crown Court, on Friday.
They admitted the offences at Sexey's School, Bruton, where they received the payments from Somerset-based food suppliers L. F. Jones.
Briaratore's fraud payments totalled £11,715.44 between November 1, 2015, and September 29, 2016.
Futcher's fraud payments came to £4,738.17 between November 11, 2016 and June 1, 2017.
Both men were released on unconditional bail for pre-sentence reports and order to appear in court for sentencing on May 31.
