IT is one of the longest-standing Glastonbury Festival rumours (pun intended)...
But it looks like it could be set to end in 2020, with Fleetwood Mac hinting they are set to appear at Worthy Farm as part of the festival's 50th anniversary.
During a Wembley Stadium show over the weekend, band members made several veiled references to the Somerset festival, saying they still have 'a big field to play' and mentioning a 'rained out festival next year'.
2020 marks the 50th anniversary of the Glastonbury Festival, and founder Michael Eavis has already hinted at Sir Paul McCartney making a return to the bill.

Fleetwood Mac have been long-time favourites of Mr Eavis, but have eluded the line-up in the past, despite the band confirming they had been asked.
And Mick Fleetwood told the Independent recently: “Of course, we’ve been asked to play and it’s never worked out."
He added: “I think I’ll burn in hell if we don’t do it one day.”
